tables

To create a table you use a | then type what you want inside a cell, then close it with another |
note the | is created by using shift plus the button above your enter key

Example of this would be, lets say you wanted to create a table that list real names with character names and has two rows. The first row you want to be as your heading row that contains real names and character names, and the the subsequent rows would be the information. The table would look like this

Real Name Character Name
Chris Dartvalince
Anthony Allegretto

To do this I typed the following in the editor
| Real Name | Character Name |
| Chris | Dartvalince |
| Anthony | Allegretto |

Now to spruce it up a bit, lets give the headings a heading formatting. We do this by adding an underscore and a period after the initial | like this |_.
By doing this, your table will now look like this

Real Name Character Name
Chris Dartvalince
Anthony Allegretto

and the coding for what you type in is this

|_. Real Name |_. Character Name |
| Chris | Dartvalince |
| Anthony | Allegretto |

The last thing we want to do is put a border around the table. To do this, we add the formatting information on the line directly before the table. The formatting that we use is 1px solid black. The way you type this is table{border: 1px solid black). (the period here has to be included on the end of the line) By doing this, your table will look like this

Real Name Character Name
Chris Dartvalince
Anthony Allegretto

table{border: 1px solid black}.
|_. Real Name |_. Character Name |
| Chris | Dartvalince |
| Anthony | Allegretto |
